GHRH

Growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) is produced in the hypothalamus and prompts the pituitary gland to release growth hormone. GHRH analogs are research molecules designed to act at the same receptor.

Some growth-hormone-axis research pairs a GHRH analog with a ghrelin-receptor secretagogue to study the body’s own pulsatile GH release rather than administering growth hormone directly.
